AN ODD WAY OF THINKING

Most of us have been so thoroughly emerged in the addictive thought process of the western European mentality and culture that we can not view life or the world through a natural unbiased or spiritual perception.  For instance:

THE CONCEPT OF "SOCIAL PROGRESS"

Blacks, Mexicans, Indians and others have been duped into accepting the premise that they have made "progress" since they have gained certain civil and social rights.  The right to vote. The right to eat in the same restaurants as Caucasians.  The right to live in the same neighborhood and such.  And most importantly the right to not be lynched simply because of the color of your skin.

The acceptance of this position of thought is based entirely on the acceptance of "white superiority. 

On the contrary, in actuality Europeans and specifically White Americans are the ones who have progressed.  They have had the opportunity to move up the scale of humanity in that they were sub human as evidenced by their historical conduct. And they have achieved what semblance of salvation available to them only because of the persistence and determination of the oppressed to achieve a life of dignity despite the lack of "good will" from their oppressors.

America has progressed socially only because of the struggles of those she has traditionally suppressed.  This is not a testimony to America's benevolence but to the strength of the struggle and determination of its oppressed. 

Those oppressed should not think of themselves as having made strides towards human equality; they were born innately equal.  The sobering truth is this, that those millions who treated them inhumanly and those who stood by allowing such and profiting from such were the real inhumans.  And those who helped to alleviate some of the pain and suffering of those masses - who gave water to him as he made his way to Calvary" - these are they who have "progressed". 

And as we see today, America is still in need of redemption.

Nations, like people, begin to recognize and acknowledge their sins when forced to their knees by circumstances beyond their control. 

Its only when the music stops and things are falling apart that we acknowledge that we were dancing with the devil.

    Behold, I make a covenant: Before all thy people I will do marvels such as have not been in all the earth, nor in any nation;
And all the people among which thou art shall see the work of Yahovah.
